The WIC food package for infants & toddlers helps: Increase fruits and vegetable consumption Reduce iron deficiency anemia rates. This rule completes implementation of the first comprehensive revisions to the WIC food packages since 1980. Georgia WIC has also made an update to its system to decrease the number of containers typically issued per voucher to assist participants in obtaining formula.
